Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ Launches the Elite National Coaches Programme


Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ was delighted to host the launch of the Elite National Coaches Programme at our Campus. This event marks the commencement of a first-of-its-kind initiative involving the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Egyptian Football Federation, the Right to Dream Organisation, and Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬, in collaboration with its UK academic partner, Manchester Metropolitan University. The programme aims to enhance the skills of Egyptian coaches training the national football team, featuring expert trainers from Manchester Metropolitan University. The event was led by our University’s School of Continuing Education, under the leadership of the School’s Executive Dean, Dr. Ahmed Darwish. 


The event was graced by the presence of H.E. Professor Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Gamal Allam, Head of the Egyptian Football Federation, Mr. Mohammed Wasfy, Head of the Right to Dream Organisation, and Professor Mohamed Loutfi, President and Vice-Chancellor of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬. Also present were H.E. Professor Dr. Mostafa El Feki, member of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Mark Howard, member of the Board of Trustees, and Mr. John Cappock Secretary of the Board of Trustees, Vice-President Board, Deans, along with many other distinguished guests. The day also featured speeches from  H.E. Professor Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Professor Mohamed Loutfi, President and Vice-Chacellor, Professor Guy Daly, Provost, Dr. Ahmed Darwish, Executive Dean of School of Continuing Education, Coach Mohamed Wasfy, Head of Right to Dream Academy,  Coach Alaa Nabil, Egyptian Football Federation Technical Director, and Mr. Gamal Allam, Head of the Egyptian Football Federation. Master of Ceremonies for the unique event was famed sports personality, Ibrahim Abdel Gawad.

The Elite National Coaches Programme not only elevates the standards of football coaching in Egypt but also reinforces our role in fostering community development and international collaboration. This initiative reflects our dedication to providing practical, hands-on experiences that prepare our students and community members for global citizenship.
