Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ Signs MoU with Sheffield Hallam University

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sheffield Hallam University, furthering its commitment to international academic collaboration. The agreement was formalised as part of the UK Higher Education Mission to Egypt, which took place in the New Administrative Capital from 16 to 18 February, under the patronage of H.E. Professor Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The high-profile delegation attending the mission included representatives from several prestigious British universities, such as Sheffield Hallam, Loughborough, Essex, East Anglia, Exeter, and Chester, alongside the UK International Universities Consortium. The three-day visit, organised by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in collaboration with the British Embassy in Cairo, focused on strengthening educational ties between Egypt and the United Kingdom.

Key discussions during the visit centred around the establishment of international university branches in Egypt, launching joint academic programmes, and enhancing cooperation in research and innovation. As part of the official agenda, memorandums of understanding were signed, including the agreement between Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ and Sheffield Hallam University, which underscores a shared commitment to advancing academic and research partnerships.

The MoU was signed by Professor Catherine Harper, Acting Provost and Pro Vice-Chancellor, and was witnessed by Professor Mohamed Loutfi, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University, and H.E. Gareth Bayley, British Ambassador.

The partnership between Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ and Sheffield Hallam University aims to foster future collaboration in research, academic exchange, and joint initiatives.
