International Student Recruitment Officer- Senior Officer
Job Purpose
The Recruitment Senior Officer / Officer – International Office is responsible for implementing student recruitment tactics, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders for international students. This position plays a vital role in lead generation, relationship building, and student conversion, while also supporting the development of international partnerships and enhancing the university’s global outreach.
The role includes active participation in events (inbound/outbound), CRM-based engagement, and ensuring applicants are guided from the inquiry stage through to successful enrolment.
Job Responsibilities
- Organize and participate in recruitment events such as school visits, open days, education fairs (international), individual/group campus tours, and webinars.
- Represent the university professionally to potential students, parents, school counselors, and institutional partners.
- Deliver engaging presentations and information sessions in international schools and other forums.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure recruitment materials and messaging are tailored to international audiences.
- Guide applicants through the admissions process, addressing inquiries and providing updates.
- Share feedback and insights from recruitment activities to support departmental planning.
- Support the development of relationships with international schools, agents, embassies, and partner institutions.
- Act as a liaison with external stakeholders to build trust and increase visibility.
- Utilize the CRM system to manage prospective student data and communication flows.
- Track interactions and follow-ups with leads, ensuring effective pipeline management.
- Assist in negotiating and managing partnerships, MOUs, and collaboration agreements.
- Respond to inquiries via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager to support departmental.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience
- +3 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or related field in a higher education environment.
- Familiarity with international education systems and qualifications.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Experience managing digital engagement tools is an asset.
