IT Business Partner- IT Department
Job Purpose
He/she is responsible for aligning technology solutions with the strategic goals of the educational institution, particularly focusing on the educational and administrative departments. This role involves understanding the specific needs of these departments, identifying and implementing technology solutions, and ensuring seamless integration and optimization of IT services to enhance operational efficiency and support educational excellence. The role also emphasizes driving digital transformation and automating manual processes to improve productivity and innovation.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborating with senior leaders, business analysts in educational faculties, and administrative departments to understand their strategic objectives and operational needs.
- Implementing IT strategies under manager direction that support the institution’s educational goals and administrative functions.
- Leading and managing IT projects, ensuring they were delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Identifying, implementing, and optimizing technology solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of educational and administrative processes.
- Analyzing current processes and systems, recommending improvements, and implementing changes under manager directions to streamline operations and improving service delivery.
- Supporting staff by ensuring effective use of IT systems and tools.
- Ensuring IT systems and processes comply with institutional policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Generating and presenting regular reports on IT performance, project progress, and strategic initiatives to direct manager.
- Leading initiatives to drive digital transformation across the institution, leveraging technology to improve educational and administrative outcomes.
- Identifying opportunities to automate manual processes, reducing workload and increasing efficiency through the implementation of advanced IT solutions.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role, preferably in an educational institution.
