Lab Pharmacist
Job Purpose
The Lab Pharmacist plays a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing simulation equipment, and developing educational scenarios of the Code Blue® III Adult Advanced Life Support Patient Simulator. This position ensures realistic, high-quality training experiences for pharmacy students, allowing them to develop critical decision-making skills in medication management, emergency response, and patient care.
Job Responsibilities
· Manage the operation of the Code Blue® III Adult Advanced Life Support Patient
. Simulator for educational and training purposes, ensuring proper setup and functionality prior to each session
· Utilise checklists and logbooks to monitor actions during simulations, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and accurate documentation.
· Conduct routine maintenance on simulation equipment, promptly addressing and documenting any issues to maintain optimal performance.
· Stay informed about the latest simulator features and software updates, contributing to plans that enhance the simulation unit's effectiveness.
· Assist in creating a mock pharmacy environment to support medication management training.
· Participate in the training of sixth-year pharmacy students during their internships.
· Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager

Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
Experience: · 2-4 years of experience · Preferred for those with direct involvement in training or simulation technology
Technical Skills: · In-depth understanding of pharmacology, medication management, and clinical protocols, essential for creating realistic patient scenarios and effective training sessions. · Experience with simulation equipment and software, with strong troubleshooting skills.
