The Department of Political Science at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ had the distinct honour of hosting H.E. Ambassador Nicholaos Papageorgiou, the esteemed Ambassador of Greece to Egypt, today for an enlightening session in their Talk in Politics series.

The Ambassador’s visit was warmly welcomed by Professor Mohamed Loutfi, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University, who expressed his appreciation for the Ambassador's commitment to fostering academic and diplomatic ties between Egypt and Greece.

During his talk, H.E. Ambassador Papageorgiou shared invaluable insights into the long-standing partnership between the two nations, emphasising the deep historical connections and the promising future of their collaborative efforts. The session also highlighted key aspects of international diplomacy, regional cooperation, and the pivotal role of Egypt and Greece in shaping the Middle East and Mediterranean regions.
