Breaking the Disability Taboo: Encouraging Openness and Inspiration

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬, under the auspices of the Ministry of Emigration and the Egyptian Expatriate's Affairs, proudly held a panel discussion about "Breaking the Disability Taboo: Encouraging Openness and Inspiration" in the presence of H.E. Minister Soha Gendi, Minister of Emigration and the Egyptian Expatriate's Affairs, Mrs. Farida Khamis, Chair of the Board of Trustees, Professor Mohamed Loutfi, President and Vice-Chancellor, and Professor Shadia Fahim, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. 
 
This inspirational panel was organised by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Psychology Department of the faculty, and moderated by television host, Ms. Essraa Nawar, Diversity and Development Librarian, and Chair, of the Arts, Exhibits and Events Committee, Chapman University.
 
The profound discussions engaged an esteemed group of inspiring heroes with special needs who successfully overcame their challenges, including Maya Kishk, a third-year student in the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Business Administration, Economics, and Political Science at the British University in Egypt, Yasmine Hassani, High School Student and Member of the Egyptian Junior Swimming Team, and Dr. Marina Zaher Nakhla, Psychology Specialist and the Ministry of Emmigration's Ambassador Abroad for People with Disabilities and Determination.
