Manchester Metropolitan University Visits our Campus
Exploring Further Areas of Mutual Collaboration with MMU
Our University hosted a distinguished delegation from our UK Academic Partner, Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), comprising three Vice-Presidents and the Head of International Partnerships, to discuss our existing partnership and further areas of mutual collaboration. The delegation, comprising Professor Jenny Watling, Vice-President of International, Professor Martyn Evans, Vice-President of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Professor Saul Becker, Vice-President of the Faculty of Health and Education, and Mr. Ian Jones, Head of International Partnerships, met our President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohamed Loutfi and senior members of the University’s teaching staff. The visit included a distinct tour of our campus which left our delegation impressed by the cutting-edge laboratories, advanced facilities, and state-of-the-art equipment available to our students.
Manchester Metropolitan University’s Manchester School of Art recently placed amongst the top 100 institutions in the world for Art and Design and the Manchester School of Architecture placed fifth in the world by the QS World University Rankings.
Our students, who are offered dual degrees in Interior Design, Fashion Design, Fine Art & Mixed Media and Photography, have at their fingertips the cutting-edge programmes of MMU and the student-centred ethos of the British University in Egypt, ultimately leaving them ready to tackle both the national and global job markets.
