Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ Signs MOU With Academy of Arts
In a strategic move to strengthen Egypt's educational and cultural landscape, the British University in Egypt and the Academy of Arts have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This partnership is set to align with Egypt's Vision 2030 by preparing a new generation that is capable of integrating arts with various scientific disciplines, ultimately preserving the nation's cultural heritage.
The MOU was signed by our University's President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohamed Loutfi, and the President of the Academy of Arts, Dr Ghada Jabbara. T
he signing took place in the presence of Professor Mohamed Shouman, Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Media at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬, Dr Hisham Gamal, Vice President of the Academy of Arts, Dr Hossam Mahsab, Dean of the Higher Institute of Childen's Arts, and Dr Samar Saeed, Dean of the Higher Institute of Folk Arts, along with esteemed Deans from Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬.
The MOU aims to join forces in education, research, technical applications, and information exchange. The collaboration aims to enhance the academic and professional skills of students and Faculty Members through a series of workshops, seminars, and joint projects. This initiative is expected to promote scientific research and foster sustainable cooperation between the two leading institutions.
This partnership reflects our University's strategy that advocates for the importance of arts and culture in human formation and aligns with Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬'s belief that arts contribute significantly to achieving sustainable development goals, reinforcing cultural identity, and promoting citizenship values. It also represents sincere cooperation that began between the Faculty of Communication and Media and the Academy of Arts and extended to all faculties of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬.
