The Faculty of Dentistry at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ emerged as a beacon of excellence at the prestigious AEEDC Dubai 2024 Conference, hailed as the largest annual scientific dental conference and exhibition globally.

The conference, renowned for its comprehensive scientific programme showcasing the latest advancements and research in various dental specialties, saw a remarkable presence from the British University in Egypt. Out of the 13 speakers who graced the Egyptian Forum, 8 hailed from our University, reflecting their significant contribution to the field.

Professor Tarek Abbas, Dean of the Faculty. garnered further acclaim by receiving the AEEDC Dubai 2024 Trophy in the Diamond Category. This accolade honoured his instrumental role in fostering successful partnerships with AEEDC Dubai, particularly in organising the Egyptian Forum featuring distinguished speakers like Professor Fardos Rizk, Professor Mohamed Fouad Haridy, Professor Dalia Ghalwash, Associate Professor Hend Sayed Ahmed, Dr Omar El Sergany, Dr Ahmed Elgamal, Dr Nour Amin, and Dr Ahmed Gamal.

Thanks are due to Dr. Nahawand Thabet, the African FDI counselor, was bestowed with a special prize for her significant contributions to the success of the Egyptian Forum, underscoring the collaborative spirit and dedication of all involved parties.

Notably, Professor Tarek Abbas and Professor Fardos Rizk represented Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ at the Global Scientific Dental Alliance Meeting, further reinforcing the institution's commitment to education and innovation transfer, themes central to this year's conference.
