FEEE Students Participate in Shell Egypt Workshop and EGYPES Conference

Students from the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering have celebrated notable achievements at the recent Shell Egypt workshop and EGYPES conference. During the 3-day workshop at AMCHAM Giza, students engaged in the NXplorer thinking strategy to enhance their problem-solving abilities. They identified a problem statement aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Egypt's 2030 Vision.

At the EGYPES conference, Rita Sameh, a student from the Renewable Energy Department, secured second place, earning a silver medal for her performance. Additionally, Motaz Khaled, from the Biochemical Engineering Department, was among the top 6 projects out of 25 submissions. His project proposed a biogas production facility using agricultural waste to address electricity cuts in Egypt, particularly in the 6th of October Industrial Zone.

The Faculty congratulates Rita and Motaz for their achievements, recognising their dedication and innovative contributions to sustainability. Their success highlights the Faculty's commitment to addressing environmental challenges and supporting Egypt's vision for 2030.
