It has been our immense pleasure at the Faculty of Law, British University in Egypt organising a workshop on Employment Law and Compliance for our senior students.

This Workshop was run by the Faculty in collaboration with renowned practitioners working at Egypt’s top tier law firms, with the aim of cultivating in our students the various practical legal skills that are closely connected to labor law. The said workshop provided our senior students through two sessions -6 hours- with deep understanding of the compliance legal skills and exposed them to different areas in the legal practice that are connected to everyday interactions in the employment area.

We do believe – at the faculty of law – that introducing our students to the different practice scopes in the legal market would open many opportunities to them after graduation as, for example, the Employment Law and Compliance Department is considered a key department in almost all top notch law firms across the country.

This workshop was delivered by two reputable practitioners in the legal practice; Mr. Tamer Fawki, Partner and Head of Employment & Labor at Matouk Badsiouny Law Firm, and Ms. Rasha Maurice, Partner and Head of Employment Group at @Shahid Law Firm
