The Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering successfully organised a Study-Abroad Initiative for its second-year students. The students were offered the opportunity to participate in the Rome Summer School Programme, which was hosted by the Academy of Art and New Technology in Rome (AANT) between the 17th and 25th of July.

The Summer School Programme aim was to implement an interdisciplinary approach for the students, thereby broadening their scope of study and introducing novel elements in the field of Environmental Engineering. It was an exceptional opportunity for the students to learn from leading experts in the field, and to gain invaluable insights into the latest advancements and trends.

Furthermore, the programme provided students with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Italy's rich cultural experience and storied history. They had the chance to explore the open-air museum that Rome presents and to witness the breathtaking beauty and grandeur of the city's ancient architecture and art.
