Oxford Price Media Law Moot Court competition

The Faculty of Law at the British University in Egypt congratulates its team representing the university for winning the first place in the Middle East’s regional rounds of the Oxford Price Media Law Moot Court competition. The team has also won the joint best memorials for the applicant and respondent, and the team member Omar Mahmoud has won the title of the Best oralist in the final match.

The team comprising of four students: Malak Hammam, Nour Elsisi, Maryam Tarek, and Omar Mahmoud, and lead by coach, Mariam Aboelmagd, Teaching Assistant at the Faculty, and co-coach Amina Lasheen, final year student, has competed with teams representing twelve Egyptian, Arab, and Middle Eastern universities, and has won most of the competition’s awards and titles.

It’s worthy to note that this is the fifth time the university has joined Oxford moot, and despite the novelty of the faculty, it consistently achieves similar awards and titles in this competition, as well as other competitions.
