In our continuous efforts to employ and encourage interdisciplinary perspectives ranging from business, economics, and political science, the Faculty of Business Administration, Economics and Political Science (BAEPS) at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ was delighted to host 'The Annual Conference of Business, Economics and Politics in the Middle East on 21 October 2023.'

The Faculty of Business Administration, Economics, and Political Science was glad to welcome our remarkable keynote speakers, Professor Wadouda Badran, Dean of our Faculty, Professor Ali Eldin Hillal, Professor of Political Science at Cairo University and Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ and Former Minister of Youth, and Professor Adla Ragab, Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University.

The Conference witnessed distinguished guest speakers from our University, from across Egypt and abroad. The conference hosted 105 attendees with 42 presenters providing presentations over 9 sessions running parallelly, three at a time. The Conference involved international participants from the UK, Serbia, Ukraine, and UAE and represented a wide range of institutions, including the United Nations, the League of Arab States, the Egyptian Red Crescent, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, the Information and Decision Support Center, the European North African Centre for Research, the Institute of Social Sciences in Belgrade, London South Bank University, the British University in Egypt, Alexandria University, Mansoura University, Horus University, Cairo University, Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University in Ukraine, and Linköping University in Sweden.

36-Hybrid concurrent sessions took place revolving around three of the most sought-after themes in the Middle East, which are Digitalisation, Governance, and Sustainability. Throughout the day, meaningful connections and sharing of valuable knowledge occurred. The conference ended with a delightful closing ceremony.
