Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ was honoured to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fahim Foundation for Mental Health Support. The MoU was signed by Professor Yehia Bahei-El-Din, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice President for Research and Enterprise, at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ and H.E. Ambassador Nabila Makram, Founder and Chair of the Board of Trustees of Fahim Foundation for Mental Health Support, and witnessed by the University Chair of the Board of Trustees, Ms. Farida Khamis, with the aim of enhancing community awareness of mental illness and improving the quality of psychological services provided to mental illness patients and their families.

This came in the presence of Ms Lamis Najm, Advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank for Social Responsibility, Professor Shadia Fahim, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the British University in Egypt, Professor Nasser Loza, Consultant Psychiatrist, Director of Behman Hospital, President of the World Federation for Mental Health, and Professor Abdel Nasser Omar, Professor of Psychiatry, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and CEO of Al-Mashfa Hospital.
Following the end of the signing ceremony, Professor Nasser Loza and Professor Abdel Nasser Omar delivered a mental health awareness session for the University students, faculty members, and staff.
