Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ Triumphs at Gen Z Programme with Award-Winning Innovations

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ has once again showcased its leadership in innovation and entrepreneurship by achieving remarkable success in the Gen Z Programme, a national competition aimed at fostering creativity and business acumen among Egyptian university students. Two teams from our University captivated the judges with their groundbreaking projects, reflecting its commitment to solving real-world challenges through innovation.

The G Minds team, emerging from our University’s Business Incubator, won a 1,500,000 EGP funding prize for their revolutionary contribution to education technology. This talented group of engineers developed augmented reality (AR) glasses that transform academic curriculums into interactive, animated games. By blending learning with entertainment, their cutting-edge innovation offers a captivating educational experience that keeps students engaged while enhancing their understanding. G Minds’ victory highlights their entrepreneurial spirit and reinforces our University’s reputation for nurturing technological ingenuity.

Meanwhile, Chi to Heal, a team from the Faculty of Pharmacy made a significant impact with their healthcare innovation, securing a 500,000 EGP funding prize. Their project, a groundbreaking medical spray designed to treat second-degree burns, holds the potential to revolutionise burn treatment by providing an effective and accessible solution for patients. This achievement underscores the dedication of our pharmacy students to advancing healthcare solutions and tackling critical medical challenges.

The Gen Z Programme, sponsored by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the Innovative Support Fund, United Media, and DS+, provided a competitive platform for Egypt’s brightest minds. The event was judged by a distinguished panel of industry leaders, including Mr. Mohamed Shelbaya, Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo Egypt; Ms. Hadeer Shalaby, Managing Director at Talabat; Ms. Mirna Arif, General Manager of Microsoft Egypt; Mr. Tarek Kamel, CEO of Nestlé; Dr. Ahmed Shalaby, Ph.D., Co-Founder and CEO of Tatweer Misr; and Ms. Farida Khamis, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬.
