Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ proudly welcomed H.E. Olivia Toderean, the Ambassador of Romania to Egypt, in a visit that reinforced the University’s commitment to fostering international collaboration. The visit was marked by a warm reception from our University’s President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohamed Loutfi, alongside Professor Ahmed El Seragy, Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design.

As part of her visit, H.E. Toderean attended the official opening of Sacred, Magic Bucovina, a remarkable photography exhibition featuring the work of acclaimed Romanian photographer, Mihaela Năstase. The photographs captured the essence of Bucovina’s vibrant culture, picturesque landscapes, and warm soul.

Our University recognises the value of artistic and academic collaboration in fostering mutual understanding and creating new opportunities for students, researchers, and creatives from both countries. The visit served as a stepping stone towards potential partnerships between The British University in Egypt and Romanian academic institutions.
