Faculty of Art and Design Introduces Two Methods of Admission
Aptitude Test and Portfolio Interview
The Faculty of Art and Design proposes two ways to join it: either an Aptitude Test or a Portfolio Interview.
The Aptitude Test assesses your ability to use different materials creatively and innovatively. To be eligible for the Aptitude Test, you must fill in an online admission form and bring the necessary tools with you, such as:
Pencils and erasers,
Coloured pencils
60 cm ruler
Coloured and black markers.
For the Portfolio Interview, we would love to get to know the artist you are. A Portfolio Interview is a two-way conversation between two creative individuals; this allows us to look through your portfolio and ask questions about your work in order to make an informed choice about your suitability for our programmes.
Therefore, please prepare a portfolio of your original art and design work, including a short statement about yourself and why you would like to study at the Faculty of Art & Design and any sketchbooks, paintings, photographs, drawings, etc. If you are a creator of digital art, please bring it on a memory stick and we will use a screen to look at it.
Lastly, in order for the Faculty to choose the perfect place for you, we would like to have a clear understanding of which particular department you prefer. However, bear in mind that such choices are neither fixed nor guaranteed during application.
