Our Biggest Run Yet: 10,000 Runners Take Over Campus for Quality Education

On Friday, 11 April, our campus came alive.

From the early morning hours, a wave of energy swept through every walkway, charged with movement, music and purpose. In collaboration with UNDP and Cairo Runners, this year’s annual run marked a milestone: 10,000 runners, all gathered in support of SDG 4: Quality Education for All.

Ministers, representatives, UN officials, students, staff, alumni and families from across Cairo filled the campus with a sense of unity you could feel in the air. People came to run for a cause but left with lungs full, hearts racing and spirits lifted.

At the start line, anticipation crackled. Flags fluttered. Playlists thumped. Cameras captured that distinct golden morning light resting on eager faces. Whether sprinting along the palm-lined paths, walking with friends or simply taking it all in, everyone had a part to play.

The main stage pulsed with momentum throughout. Between inspiring speeches and messages of encouragement, the final note came from none other than rapper LEGE-CY, who lit up the crowd and brought the day to a spectacular close.

We’re still basking in the glow of this year’s run. But even as we celebrate, we’re already looking ahead to the next one. Bigger. Louder. And even more impactful.
