Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ Hosts Fifth Political Science Conference Model

The Faculty of Business Administration, Economics, and Political Sciences at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ proudly hosted the third international and fifth national edition of the Political Science Conference Model (PSCM), reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence and dynamic student engagement in global affairs.

This year’s PSCM brought together students and distinguished leaders in a powerful simulation that offered a unique opportunity for hands-on learning from the very best in the field. The highlight of the conference was the keynote speech delivered by His Excellency Ambassador Amre Moussa, former Secretary-General of the Arab League, former Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, and esteemed Board Member of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ.

In his address, H.E. Ambassador Moussa tackled some of the most pressing regional and international challenges, offering profound insight into Egypt's strategic approach to evolving political developments. His engaging discussion resonated deeply with students, and he commended the outstanding academic calibre of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ’s Political Science students, praising their thoughtful questions and intellectual curiosity.

The conference also featured speeches from our President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohamed Loutfi, who reaffirmed the university’s mission to foster free thought, constructive dialogue, and academic exploration.

Discussions throughout the conference were spread across five thought-provoking sessions. The first session explored themes of conflict and cooperation in global affairs, while the second focused on international actors and their influence in the Middle East. The third session examined the complex interplay between migration, society, and conflict, followed by a fourth session that delved into the dynamics of foreign affairs in conflict areas. The fifth and final session addressed the ever-relevant field of political economy, tying together the various threads of the conference into a broader understanding of the interconnected global landscape.

This annual event stands as a testament to our dedication to promoting critical thinking, open dialogue, and leadership in political science education. Through initiatives like PSCM, the University continues to empower the next generation of thinkers and changemakers.
