Under the auspices of Prof. Mohey Elmazar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy- the British University in Egypt and as a continuation of our policy in providing community services at all levels. Faculty of Pharmacy-Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ in cooperation with the Rotary Egypt (District 2451), carried out the third medical convoy to Korsaya village, Giza governorate, on Friday 14/1/2022.

The aim of this convoy is to provide and follow up medical services and health care awareness to the citizens of this highly needed area. This was done under the supervision of Dr. Noha Gamaleldin and Dr. Moataz Sobhy with the participation of 5 of the faculty students representing members of EPSF and Pharmacy students’ union, in addition to the participation of 2 Pharmacy graduates.

Medical examinations were provided to the residents of this area in the specialties of Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Orthopadeology and Nutrition. This convoy was distinguished by conducting eye examinations for a large number of the village inhabitance, with providing free eyeglasses for the patients. Faculty of Pharmacy students and graduates were responsible for organizing the pharmacy, dispensing a large number of medical prescriptions (up to 250 prescription), in addition to offering patient counselling in many public health issues.
